August was definitely a weird reading month for me. Overall, I had a slow start, but I mostly finished strong with 4 full length novels and 2 novellas altogether as well as, unfortunately, 1 DNF (did not finish). I really liked my reading experience in June. Not only did I get to reread a few books, I also got to a couple of genres I typically read less of on an average basis. One of the best highlights was beginning an impromptu reread of the Throne of Glass series with one of my book besties!! Completely unplanned and 100% worth it! WOW. I seriously cannot believe how quickly the last three months have flown by! Didn’t summer JUST START? Also didn’t this year?! I really struggle to get my monthly wrap-ups up in blog form every month, but I find I really enjoy this quarterly wrap-up that I do occasionally!
