50 Highly Anticipated Fantasy + Romance Books of 2022
Well, my goodness, we’re almost to 2022! I can’t believe it. I feel like I was just writing about highly anticipated fantasy reads of 2021 and now … here I am thinking about 2022 releases already! 2022 is going to be an amazing year for book releases. There are SO many good ones to look forward to and I can’t wait to dive into all of them here. Now, I’m sure this is not a complete list by any means, but most of these releases are ones I’m definitely looking forward to and also ones that I just haven’t stopped seeing or hearing about over the course of this year. From House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas to Emily Henry’s new romance novel Book Lovers, I’ll be covering the most talked about and most anticipated Fantasy, Romance, and Fantasy Romance (aka Romantasy) reads coming our way in 2022.
These genres are my top favorite and I know they must be yours too since you’re here! So, without further ado, let’s dive into the most highly anticipated fantasy and romance books of 2022! I’ve organized the releases first by genre (fantasy, romance, or romantasy) and then by release date.
